It would be useful to have a higher limit than 1,000 for a Twitter Audience Search to make the topics overlay useful. If it is a random sample it will not necessarily collect people talking about this. Also in order to make actionable recommendations a sample of 1,000 is not that high, or if you add more than one handle in one search this means the sample per handle is quite low. It would also be great to be able to upload a list of more than 1,000 users that have been identified through a topic search to make the Twitter Audience Search even better!

Hi Charlotte, you're absolutely right and we have this on the Roadmap, planned for Q2. We are going to increase this to 5K users and also allow clients to choose their own sample. So keep an eye out for the feature roll out in May 2018.
