Three ways in which Boolean search set up can be improved;
1. Location and Language search set up in the Boolean set up - as in Wizard. It would be great if this was an available feature in Boolean as it makes it much easier when applying these filters to a search in the set up phase. (Other tools do this...!)
2. At the Summary stage of search set up, the edit buttons (pencils) are hidden unless you hover over them: these should be visible all the time. I didn't know it was an available feature and so scrapped and re-did an entire search set up before accidentally hovering and revealing the pencil button.
3. When there is an error in the search syntax, identifying clearly where and what this error is. The other day there was a problem with my Facebook topic search and I kept getting a "query too long" message, rather than one that made it clear my topic search had a problem. I kept editing my Boolean search string before eventually scrapping the Facebook element, at which point it instantly worked.
Agreed, adding location the same way it is in wizard for boolean would be preferred.
