The problem & impact
Currently, we have a dashboard limit of 10 per search which has caused issues with some larger (e.g. enterprise) and long-term clients. Particularly, we have had to make compromises about deleting dashboards (in use) to make space for new projects.
Dashboards usually include a combination of ongoing brand, competitor and product monitoring alongside campaign reporting. These are accessed by various stakeholders and often have different teams and/or reports associated with them, hence deleting any is quite inconvenient.
Proposed solution
While extending the limit of charts per dashboard is appreaciated and would have some positive impact in the aforementioned cases, increasing the dashboard limit per search would be the ideal solution.
Additionally, being able to archive dashboards and restore them in similar fashion to searches may be a potential solution - also allowing for cloning across searches and maybe even domains (rather than importing chart by chart).
This had been shipped and the number has increased to 20. In the future, we will allow the dashboard limit per search to be specified at Team level.
Hi Yordanks, this functionality will be available in the new TRAC by the end of this month. You can reach out to Nirain if you need additional info.
Thanks
