Search via News headline in TRAC

Please could we explore the option to filter news by the news headline in TRAC?

This would be extremely helpful because a key word mention in a headline (eg "Aid Workers") is a clear indicator that the primary focus of the article is that key word.

Due to the long-form nature of news articles, often we'll pull in thousands of news articles (especially for noisy/big key words), which is so time consuming for clients to sift through and the alerts become unhelpful.

We can explore having it at both search setup level and filter level.

Hi Linda, I was more specifically referring to the ability to filter by the headline after search set-up, but your suggestion would be even better.

The use case is that we have a (humanitarian aid charity) customer tracking "aid workers" as a term in online news - but the vast majority of the news mentions 'aid workers' anecdotally at the end of the article. By searching the headline of the article, they can guarantee that the whole article is about aid workers, specifically.
    Thanks!

Hi Lucy when you say filter by news headline, do you mean you want the ability at search setup to query by Title? So for example, to collect only articles that have specific keywords in the title? If that's the case, we already have this feature on the backlog, it was de-prioritised but we can evaluate and bring this forward.

    Cheers
