It would be extremely helpful to have a relative count of a post's engagements within the filtered time frame/channel without needing to bring in the actual number of retweets into the platform. This would give greater flexibility with volumes and allow us to capture a greater proportion of the relevant chatter.

Makes sense, we will see if this is possible for Twitter.
For context, we recently had to limit the volume of a search by excluding RT's within the set up: this however meant that RT's were not counted at all as engagements. It would be great if we could exclude the actual RT from the results but still be able to measure the volume of engagements accurately, and therefore see what content is most engaged with.
